Altus Design Studio
A colour-filled and art led one-bedroom terrace in Sydney’s inner west, this Lilyfield home belongs to an avid art and ceramics collector with a particular love of Kartell and Dinosaur Design resin pieces. The design celebrates bold colour, personality and curation, allowing the client’s collection to take centre stage while creating a layered, expressive yet highly liveable home.
A former study was thoughtfully reimagined as a dining area, anchored by a custom banquette that brings warmth and intimacy to the space. While the intervention was deliberately light, the impact is significant. Existing soft furnishings were refreshed through reupholstery, complemented by a new rug, bedhead and decorative lighting. These carefully considered additions layer colour, texture and personality throughout the home, demonstrating how a light touch interior approach can meaningfully transform the atmosphere of a space.

Josie was fabulous to work with. She understood exactly what I wanted and made it better. She moved at my pace and always kept me updated on progress.
I absolutely love the results. I open my front door and immediately feel happy.
