Located on Sydney’s North Shore, Karinya House is a vibrant yet serene family home designed to feel like a warm embrace. With a gentle nod to the clients’ love of green and a desire for a space that felt both playful and timeless, this project brings together earthy tones, layered textures and curated colour to create a home full of heart. Every room is designed to support slow living, connection and joy — from the intimate library nook to the tactile finishes and sculptural details that appear throughout.
A collaboration with Miwa Design, who led the interior architecture, Altus Design Studio curated all furniture, artwork, finishes and styling to deliver a cohesive and deeply personal home. The result is a soulful retreat that balances colour with calm — a true reflection of the family who live there.
