Although this home had been previously structurally renovated, its new owners felt a disconnect and craved a space that was more closely reflective of their lifestyle and personalities. When the clients were asked what feeling they wanted their space to evoke, the response was 'happy, joy, joy’ with the brief to infuse colour and fun. Alongside joyful design considerations, the design of custom joinery was imperative to house their extensive book and Lego collections, while simultaneously showcasing treasured objects.
